Context: Why this page exists?
A resume lists where I have been. It does not explain how I think.
I believe hiring a leader is a high-stakes decision that requires more than a 60-minute interview. I built this site to provide radical transparency into my operating principles, my written culture, and the feedback loops I create.

1. My Operating System - "How I make decisions"
The mental models I use to allocate capital, manage risk, and lead teams.
I believe that success is not random. It is the result of applying tested principles over and over again. This is a living document of the mental models I use to drive the machine. Inspired by Ray Dalio’s Principles.

Engineering Machine (Execution)
- Process over Outcome: A good outcome from a bad process is luck. We do not trust luck, we trust the machine. We debug the process, not the person.
- Error Budget: A mistake is tuition paid. Hiding a mistake is theft. We optimize for “Mean Time to Recovery”, not "Zero Errors”.
- Simplify, then Simplify Again: Complexity is the silent killer of velocity. We fight for simplicity in product, processes, and org charts.
- Automation is like Breathing: It works in the background so you can forget about it. It prevents you from critical failure (suffocating) but allows manual override when needed.
Capital Allocation (Strategy)
- “Invert, Always Invert”: We don't just ask "How do we win?" We ask "What guarantees failure?" and avoid that.
- Strong Opinions, Loosely Held: I bring a view to drive the conversation, not to defend my ego. When data arrives, I update my priors immediately.
- Second-Order Thinking: We never judge a decision by its immediate result. We ask: "And then what?"
- Think Like and Investor: I view engineering hours as capital. I allocate them to projects with the highest ROI and compound interest (output and growth), not the highest noise.
Human Protocol (Culture)
- Psychological Safety is Infrastructure: Safety is not "cuddling". it is the prerequisite for speed. It is the foundation that enables sustainable high-performance and professional joy.
- Reputation is the Ultimate Currency: “It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it.” (Warren Buffett). I treat trust as a non-renewable resource; I never trade long-term credibility for short-term appeasement.
